Description: Nice original empty packet that originally contained 10 .52 Sharps linen cartridges and a packet of 12 percussion caps. The label reads, " 10 Cartridges, / 12 Caps / For Sharps' Improved Rifle. / 52/100 Calibre. / A Superior Quality of Powder is Used, made by / A. G. Fay, Potter & Telman, Boston, Mass. / Address / Sharps' Rifle Manuf'g Co. / Hartford, Ct. Nice two-piece box still retains its overall shape. There is a little soiling on this example and it appears it was originally opened from the bottom. It has been resealed and has a plastic outer wrapper covering the entire packet. One bottom corner is not in the best of shape!
