    Description

    I obtained a collection of Civil War bullets in which the digger had meticulously identified and labeled each bullet and but in small bags. This one is a CS nose cast recovered at Gettysburg as seen on the small tag that came with each bullet. The #378 refers to the number assigned the bullet in Civil War Projectiles II, by McKee and Mason. Only a few of the dozens of bullets were from Gettysburg - most were from central Virginia.
