    Civil War US Bullet in Wood Dug on Rocky Face Mtn Dalton GA in the 1990's.
    This piece of tree is 6-1/2-inches long x 2-inches wide x 1-inch thick.
    The bullet embedded into it is a Yankee 3-ringer.
    There were a very few of these found on Rocky Face Mountain in the 1990's.Most were heart pine wood. I believe this one is cedar,
