    Arabia Finland Plaque Primitive Beasts Brita Heilimo 1950s
    BRITA HEILIMO (b1928 in Jakobstad) studied at Aalto University School of Arts, Design and Architecture for five years She started working for Arabia Department of Industrial Art in 1952 and continued working until 1959
    Some of her chamotte and earthenware vases, wall tiles/plaques and decorative items designed during her short time at Arabia were in Arabia's exhibiton in the 1950's
    The motif for this plaque was inspired by the cave paintings in Altamira Spain.
