    Description

    Sculptural organic shape 1960s Danish ceramic bowl by Gunnar Nylund (1904-1997) made for Rorstrand Studio in Sweden. Beautiful variegated yellow and brown hare's fur glaze with wonderful central area resembling burl wood. This is a larger version of the model, excellent potting, very pleasing shape, in excellent condition. Marked as a factory first on the bottom with letter R and three crowns for the Rorstrand Studio, GN for Gunnar Nylund, SWEDEN and ARO as the name of the model. Length 6 3/8 inches (16.2 cm), height 3 1/8 inches.
